Eprom Dismount (Quick Question)

Hi,

I have a friend who is interested in getting his Renault Clio 1.4 16v remapped. The guy he contacted advised remapping it via 'Eprom Dismount' :S.

He's planning on getting it done in the next few weeks. Does anyone have any information on this subject (Eprom Dismount), whats involved? prices? etc...?

Any help would be much appreciated.
