error messages on laptop

alright folks. ages ago (about 6-7 months), avg detected a trojan i think it was, but it would not let me delete some of its related files. so, me being me, i decided to start my laptop up in safe mode and delete the files myself.

ever since i did that, i have had the following messages pop up when i start the laptop. does anybody have and idea how to solve the problems?

im running vista home basic btw

Have you tried running another spyware program?

Give Spybot a try

something is still trying to call the files up.

go to start - run, and type 'msconfig' then click on the startup tab and uncheck the programs that look dodgey.

cheers guys. im running spybot just now. where is 'run' in vista? its not in the start menu...that i can see.

just type it in the search bar instead in the start menu, press enter and it will come up

oh sorry mate, forgot you was talking about vista, i was thinking xp. glad you sorted it anyway!
