ESP, serv and temp? warning lights

Hi All,

After accelerating hard out of any right hand bend ( although strangely not left hand ) the above warning lights come on and my 172 goes into what I can only presume is limp home mode - the engine revs constantly at around 2K rpm and the throttle seems to be disconnected.

After turning the ignition off and back on everything is back to normal.

I am presuming the warning light directly to the right of the ESP light is a temperature warning light? is this correct as the cars under warranty and I'd like to be accurate when booking it in.

Anyone else had this problem? - Does the ECU keep a list of faults as I'd rather not have one of the tech's racing round bends trying to duplicate the fault!

Just had this happen to me twice this week!

ESP and Service lights come on only. both time came on whilst drive slowly so I'm gonna book it in for a check

check all fluid levels for a start.

Also check the wheel speed sensors to see if theres a build up of crap, or if one is cracked.

I think anything that that anything that causes the SERV light to come on is logged as a fault in the computer - Renault should be able to get details of exactly what it thought was wrong at the time.

I have a 182, my serv and esp light comes on usually after 20-30 mins of driving, especially when on the motorway or driving over rough terrain! what does this mean, renault dont know what it is as their tech drivers havnt drivin it long enough for the light to come on! they said it may be linked to the abs and the sensors may need to be replaced!
