Well the salesman I was dealing with has, and I quote the prat (trainee) I spoke to on the phone, 'been sacked' so I popped down today today to find out who I was dealing with now and make sure everything was ok with the order. All is good, except the delivery date above, which was given to me by the same prat that told me the salesman had been sacked, is wrong. Delivery is scheduled for end of September / begining of october

if the factory wasnt closing down for summer holiday (3 weeks in august) then it would have been an 8 week lead time. Suppose if the punto sells I'll be buying whatever has some MOT and Tax in the local bargain pages

Yep, which is why I was wanting it then, even though its going on a private plate, thought it will help with resale instead of getting a late 08 plate
