Evo Exhaust

In desperate need of a backbox so i picked up an evo 8 exhaust off a mate from work (chavvy i know but I'm short of money and its better than no backbox at all), has a 3 inch pipe and ive got 2 or 2.5. My mate who works at kwikfit said it would fit with a downpipe in the middle, so took it there and the manager had a look but he said they can't do it. Is he just saying that because of kwikfit's policy on exhausts or can't it actually be done? Was thinking of going to powerflow seeing if they would do it?

Try somewhere like Dexel, they are much better for stuff like that.

There's a place in Market Rasen who are awesome, I can't remember the name at the moment. They do a lot of custom stuff and are very cheap.

anything will fit to anything. it just depends how deep your pockets are
for the hassle its worth id just get a backbox that will mate up

terrible idea but doable. any custom exhaust place should do it, might not be the neatest job in the world

We had a peugeot gti once and bought a secondhand pugsport for it and took it to kwikfit.

The snotty bellend of a manager there told us it was company policy not to fit parts that weren't supplied by them.

Cheers guys will look at that place in market rasen. Good thing is though it still is a stealth exhaust with the backbox on, because it's alot shorter than the original backbox, i definately wouldn't put it on if it showed it would just look stupid. I just hope its not stupidly loud.

It will have a horizontal tailpipe though just hidden under the bumper - is that what you are saying ? If so, don't do it, get a pattern part off eBay if you must but don't bodge an Evo exhaust on the Clio !

Not doing it anymore, realised its a stupid idea. Had a proper look at it and its far too big! Also i held the backbox on the end of my exhaust and it makes it 10x louder/chavvyer. Standard is the way forward .
