Exhaust Bore Size

Whats the best exhaust bore size for the 172 as i am told and belive this to be 2.5 inch but every time i get a quote for an exhaust to be made they seem very uneasy when i tell them i want 2.5 and tell me the i will be better with 2.25.


Basically should i stand my ground tell em DO IT IN 2.5 NOT 2.25 inch

70mm is a bit too big imho my supersprint race system was 70mm and without other mods i think it was a bit too big

the 63mm was a much better size and quieter

Well my magnex is 2.5" afaik, and its bigger than a standard system which is 2.25" iirc? Seems to have a bit for go at the top end with the magnex one.
