Exhaust & Cat Questions

im pretty sure my standard exhaust has started blowing, but i was going to go aftermarket sometime soon anyway, and i just have a few questions:

i dont want a chavtastic as loud as possible box with 5" round tailpipe, i just want something with a nice note and gets loud as its opened up?? after a cat-back system, whats the best manufacturer to go for? also, what would it sound like if it was de-catted?

A bit noiser for a decat.
Freds got one for sale (well its a normal cat he just smahsed the internals out of it).

Adahhog has an exhaust for sale no idea about noise though best ask him. He has a I thinkt he whole setup for sale so you could smash the internals ouy of the cat and keep your for MOT time.

Apart from the fact its a much bigger bored and so fitment would be a bit annoying nothing that I can think off.
