Exhaust clamps 182

Could anyone advice me if I’m wrong on what size clamp I should buy for my 182 de-cat to cat back. Does 69mm sound right

Depends on exhaust system and whether there's an olive joint

If its a Scorpion set-up with trumpet and olive joint then my advise just have it welded as they are a nightmare to seal.

This, plus if you're connecting to a decat pipe you really want that join removable come MOT time.

Not in my experience it doesn't. I went through 3 clamps and a full tube of the orange loctite silicone and it still wouldn't seal.

Yep same as mine mate, I tried with 2 x 69mm and a 76mm to no avail, but 69mm should be the right one. Just try and make sure the trumpet is not bent to get the best seal you can, smother the fecker in high temp silicone and clamp it up and hope for the best.

The issue I was having was the clamps weren't getting hold of the trumpet end properly.
