Exhaust drone

Has anybody had any luck making there exhaust less droney
I have fitted a 2nd hand stainless exhaust mske not known and it is droney at most revs and speeds it has what looks like a sports cat with 2 lambda sensor plus a fairly large rear box that sits under my bumper the centre is not a straight pipe but the resonator/silencer isnt that big is there an easy way to make the exhaust less droney

I had a yozza on my cup. It was truly horrible and lasted 2 weeks before I changed it. Luckily for me it was a scene exhaust so I sold it on quickly.

Original/genuine back boxes are some of the best, if you can get a non-rusty one(s) they are just as good as aftermarket ones, and don't drone.
