exhaust for clio mk2 ph1

Just bought a k-tec exhaust and it dosen't fit!!! Gutted, what exhaust/ backbox would fit my car and give a good growl? Not a huge budget though.

'ktr power system exhaust k6 tailpipe' Got it from a mate who had it on his clio mk2 ph2. I phoned k-tec and they said it would be fine!!

What engine was it on and what engine are you fitting it to? What about it is stopping it from fitting?

The garage just said that it won't fit, wrong shape! Weren't giving anything away! It was fitted to a 1.2 16v and is going on a 1.4 8v sport.
