Exhaust - How low?

Just got a 172 with a standard exhaust, but how low do they sit? I can see it when I look behind the car. I'll get a picture but just wondering if others could give me an insight

Also how loud are the standard exhausts suppose to be? Mine gives quite a nice growl.

Been a while since I heard a standard 172, I think they do sound alright though.

Check the rubbers, they are probably sagging.

Yep as Alex says above get new rubbers as they will be sagging.

You're not meant to be able to see the exhaust when looking from the back

No easy. Just look under the car and you'll see them. Metal brackets with rubber inside.
Some people just reinforce the rubber, or you can unbolt them and replace, I think they're three bolts each. The bolts are known to seize and snap though
