Exhaust manifold

  Clio 197 cup
Hi
I am looking for some advice on what is the best way to sort a leaking exhaust manifold on my clio 197. Should I try to replace the flexi or go for an after market replacement
Cheers

There is a few choices.

Alot of people do the following on there car -

1, Repair there exhaust flexi
2, buy a second unit, swap the Flexi and then swap the manifold.
3, Buy a ToyoSport manifold from ebay at around £170
4, Buy a K-Tec manifold at £500+

I personally have a Toyo Sport and I just replaced the Flexi on mine -

Thanks

The Toyosport bangs off the subframe of the car so people fit power flex upper engine and lower gearbox mounts.
As you can see from my pictures I also went that little extra and neatly took some of the subframe out as the previous owner thought it would be a good idea to try and melt it with a blow torch.

I would rather spend £50 every 6 years on a cheap manifold to change the Flexi than spend it on an expensive manifold. No matter how you look at it its a Flexi and it will go.
