Exhaust mounts

Hi guys, Can anyone tell me whether they have upgraded their exhaust mounts, as mine are all cracking up.
I have a custom Twin box Hayward & Scott exhaust. Trouble is when I accelerate quite hard and then let off WITHOUT dipping the clutch, it makes a nasty bang below the floor at the back seat area. Anyone else had problems like this, and is it easy to change exhaust mounts? :S

I changed mine not that long ago.. When I bought them from Renault thouigh they entered my details into the computer which showed the wrong exhaust mounts next to the 182 exhaust the mounts we use on our 182 are from the megane apparently!!

Normal Renault ones, think they were about £17 each iirc, Ad off here sorted them for me :approve:

I think I want to get stronger mounts than the Renault ones. They just seem to crack and weken in next to no time. Any recommended sites?

Ford do some stronger but demon Tweeks for aftermerket will be stiffest.

I'd stay with OE though.

got some k tec ones on mine stopped the exhaust rattle the only minor problem is it causes a vibrating noise through the dash
