Nice build (apart from the awful skirts and splitter), but I'm not sure a 550bhp Clio appeals a lot to me. Doesn't really seem in keeping with what they're all about somehow.

They're genuine RenaultSport items you big wet lettuce

197s look pony without them

I know they are, but that doesn't make them look any better. They totally spoil the balance of the car because the side skirts end up sitting lower than the front bumper.

Not sure if you can see but the standard skirts are lower than the front bumper. Even with the standard rubber lip they're lower

They are, but this makes it looks 1000x more obvious. Each to their own ultimately, but they look gash in my view. And not in a fresh 18-year old college chick way. In a chunky, fifty-year old growler way.

I admire the effort which must have gone into it, but it's pure insanity. £22.5k for something where the fun is at least partially in the journey of building the thing. I do get the lure of having one of the most powerful cars of it's type but bloody hell.

Maybe he just wanted to enter an event with @RuskiWeldFab and blow the poor guys mind with how such a stock looking car is so insanely fast.

If I had put 15k into this engine I would be proper gutted thinking that the 350 BHP figure us a bit optimistic 🤣
