Exhaust Noise

Hi, new to this site! but not to my car (renaultsport 172 2002 model!) LOVE IT!

I recently had to get a new mid section and tail pipe for my car due to an impromptu race with another 172..i won..but the exhaust decided it had had enough!

Since replacing the parts with a standard exhaust for the car in kwik fit, i now notice a buzzing at about 3500 to 4000 revs (usually 80mph in 5th) which comes and go's, it seems to be coming from right next to me, so i wonder if the exhaust is not aligned properley? Anyone know if this is something to do with the new exhaust??

Also, seems to have a much gruntier grunt than before, and even though it's passed it's MOT i get the feeling theres something not right with my once purring mean machine, could it be I need to invest in a much better exhaust £££££!

Can anyone help with this one??

Pretty sure the ones Kwik Fit use are not genuine Renault ones and restrict the car loads.

Could be wrong though.

Kwik fit = s**t fit in my experince.

I also thought that renault hadn't let anyone copy the exhaust (something like that anyway)
So sh*t fit (as I call them) would simply buy it from renault & then charge you for it (adding on thier bit of course)

I'd take it back to them & get them to look at it.
