exhaust pop

will all exhausts pop with a decat, i have 172 will decat and k-tec exhaust also remaped and cold air indution, if so how do i make it pop

if you run a straight through + decat you should when you overrev as you decelerate

so say i went up to 6000 rpm 1st then let my foot off the pedal and as it goes down wht put my foot on the clutch and rev right up

I've got a cat back on the std cat and it pops on deceleration (clutch engaged and foot off the gas)

When the car is on over run (high revs) dip the clutch and lets the revs go down you should hear it then..

Or drop it into a lower gear and let the car slow down, mine has a magnex cat back system on when that warms up i get some pops and bangs!

dont dip the clutch! leave it where it is and hold the pedal on over run, so it's still decelerating and it should burble but not much more. You cant get Mk2's to pop on standard map, Mk1 Clio's yes, but not Mk2's. Mine pops and blasts flames out because of the Omex and the map on it, missus car just burbled a bit

I get the odd pop when cold, but normally just a bit of a stutter on overrun. Incidentally my car set a mercedes car alarm off yesterday. Which was nice lol.

I hope mine will pop with a decat, my hybrid mk1 was awesome, at 6-7k tapping the accelerator used to made it pop and light up the exhaust orange (but not split flames)
