Had a new bracket for exhaust but then the middle pipe split so I got a stainless steel fitted. Thing is it rattles so I took it back to ETS. The original didn't.
The guy put some more rubbers in the bracket and some tie wraps. The back box seems quite stiff now. Drove down street and it's still rattling. He said to get a powerflex bracket from Halfords but I'm not sure if it is going to fix the problem. I think it's more from the middle.
Does anyone have any advice on to what might solve the problem or what to look for. The thing is it only happens on the road and not on the ramps so it's difficult to solve. The heat shield looks fine, still attached an all.
Could I strengthen the centre bracket? There is a tie wrap on it. It's really annoying me. My friend who sorted getting the exhaust out said he'd take the car in again as he works with them a lot. Wondered if anyone could give me some pointers so I can tell them what to look for maybe.
