And in device manager it has the full name of the drive(Model + Name)so i know its working, But when i go into 'My Computer' It only has C:\ and no other drives

Maybe the car pc usb port doesnt have enough power to pick up the device in my computer.... A hard drive uses a fair amount and sometimes needs a mains passthrough cable.

But windows is saying its found it and its working it even tells me the device name + model number. It only needs USB power :) As theres no where to plug mains in.

right click on your computer on the desktop, select manage, look under disk management and see if it is listed. If it is, you can format it, set the drive letter, etc.

Sounds like it's just unallocated space. You'll need to slap a partition on it in disk management, then it'll show up in Explorer.

^^ that's what I was getting at, the main thing is that it is not uncommon for external drives to not show on some systems, yet under disk management they do.

As Gareth said go into Disk Management and see if it appears. It might just need a drive letter associating with it.

Just been back out there, It works now, It was b/c of the USB Hub, So i moved some things about and it works
