External Hard Drive - Wireless

I have a LAN network HDD on my wireless network i.e. one that can connect to a LAN and USB. It plugs into my router via a spare rj45 socket. Plus, I can access it from work like a server.

Only cost about £30 from ebay plus an old HDD.

nas storage is nothing new, why you wuld want to do it over wifi is anyones guess as its crap. Only ever going to be used in the home market as work environment wouldnt put up with slow xfer rate and suspect wifi connectivity imho

Where did I say NAS is new ;)

Anyhow, yap, wireless = pooh.

On average, most work networks are a gig.

Just set up a nice server in the attic with a raid 5 :) stream everything off it for laptops and the xbox 360 via wireless router.
