External Temperature Display

Hi,

I picked up my 02 172 just over a week ago and noticed that the external temp display appears to be wrong as at the moment it is displaying in excess of 30 degrees celcius. But having done some research the temprature reading would be correct in fahrenheit. Does anyone know if this is switchable between celcius and fahrenheit and if so hows it done???

Faulty sensors are quite common and will affect the climate control iirc, they aint cheap neither!
