F16 PLATE/FI6 PLATE AND INDICATOR

missing plastic screw thing on my plate on top of engine has anyone got a spare plastic screw thing that holds this plate on??? also looked at indicator housing on front of car, am replacing both clear indicator housings! was told to remove splash guard??? have looked and aint got a clue how to remove them???? someone help please!!!!!

a new spark plug cover is only a few quid surprisingly, fron ren.

dont need cover mate! just the plastic screw thing! somehow my spark plug cover had come off and was wedged down back of engine???? dunno how that happened!!!!!

yea, but i dont think you can get those screws seperately, and i dont think anybody will be willing to give it up, but i got one missing aswell! lol

lol i cant understand how the cover fell of in the first place???? also mate how the hell do i change the indicator housings???? looked after advice i was given but aint got a clue????

These are the following bits your after mate:

Screw : 77 03 081 025 (£0.49 each)

Washer : 77 00 670 649 (£0.47 each)

The washer goes on the screw but under the cover... thats what keeps it on!

the indecators just clip in place

ok mate but someone said something about removing a splash guard??? is this the blue strip running along the outside underneath the indicator????

sorry i mis read i thought u ment the side indecators

the indicators slot into the headlight housing and are held in place by a spring/ring pull idea.have a look behind the headlight and youll see the ring on the end of the spring sitting in a groove in the headlight housing.unclip this and slide the indicator out.

OH, i thought you were on about the side indicators aswell.

The front indicator lamps just unclip from the main headlight which is bolted in. Just 2 tab like things which you push in.

depends.some have plastic clips but some older ones have the spring idea.
