F4R Engine Cambelt

Hi guys,

I cant help wondering after enquiring at a non-Renault spares shop for a cambelt...They say there are 2 different cambelts and Renault says there is only one for the F4R motor.

Also,can one buy the locking tools?Im in South Africa but dont mind shipping them over

Yes there are 2 different kits, renault only sell the later phs2 version now, the other kit is for the earlier phs1

we can ship worldwide no problem

Alright,sounds great,but i have the 2004 Clio sport 2.0 16V, think its a 182...delivers 131kW.What will the cambelt kit cost and why does it differ?Also,what is the cost of the locking tools?

renault only sell the later phs2 version now

that's new. since when?? Just checked and it's still on the parts system

Got one in to do at the moment, got the genuine kit same day. Get a better dealer
