Thank you, I have Gen90 for my Clio 182RS from K.Tech racing, can that be remappd to fit the F4r830The engine and box will fit in the mk2's. Not sure if you need to do anything fancy with the dogbone and gearbox mount though.
As for wiring, you'll need to transplant the 197 ecu and loom in unless you want to run it on a gen90 or another standalone. The 197 runs fully variable inlet cam timing and there's no way of retrofitting the wiring into the 1*2 ecu.
Yes but you'll need to wire it into the 1*2 ecu plug mate. You'll also need Sean @ktec to send you an aspect file to allow the gen90 to run the full vvt. It's a relatively straightforward conversion tbhThank you, I have Gen90 for my Clio 182RS from K.Tech racing, can that be remappd to fit the F4r830
I think you'll need custom shafts tbh mate. I took the easier route and put a 197 head on a 172 block.Sorry for the sort of thread jack, but I am considering the same swap myself. Do you require custom made driveshafts, or will either of them fit?
Cheers.
I think the bell housing is a changeable item yeah.I was planning to use my sadev gearbox from the old engine and maybe change the bellhousing, is that possible? My block or should I say the complete engine is just shot, I installed camshaft, valves, hicomp pistons and h rods from K-Tech but I have had complete failing on the bearings on the crankshaft twice and I don*t know why. Anyone who has some ideas?
