f7p question

just wondering about how many hp/kw can handle stock f7p(pistons, rods etc.)
NA or turbo? Are you taking bolt on stuff or head work cams etc.

Unfortunatly a straight answer isn't easy to give without knowing what you intend to do.

  182/RS2/ Turbo/Mk1
yes marginally

its so much down to what turbo you use and how its mapped though, use a big turbo and avoid midrange torque and map it well and you'll get a lot more than some people will say you can.

My friend's F7P is approx 380 HP / 450 Nm (turbo'd F7P, Wössner pistons, rods, E85, MS1 etc) He won the Hungarian National Drag Championship AS3 (2010) and AS7 (2011) categories, best 1/4 mile time: 11.88s @ 197.5 kph. There was no problem with the bottom end so far. IIRC he used stock b/e with Renault rods and Wössner pistons in the Stage 1, this time the car produced approx 280 HP.
