Just picked the GOTY off Amazon for £14.

What sorta gameplay is it? From youtube it seems like a Baulders gate esq game, good if it is Baulders gate was amazing !

Agree with the simple bit, but I still think it was an awesome game.

Fable 2 and COD6 are the only games I've went to the point of setting aside time to play them!

Not tried the follow-up, but got bored of the original quite quickly. As others, a bit too simplistic I think - but I can see the appeal in it.

i loved the first the second wasnt quite as good tbh ive done as much as i can now without buying the mansion but thats 1mill credits and will take ages to earn but i need that for the last gargoyle so i can get their treasure

Love the game, gameplay you could say is basic, but then it is hack and slash.
One of my fave 360 tbh

I had this for the 360 and didn't play it too much. I think other games took over and Fable was put in the corner.

Shame, given the comments and reviews it's picked up.

Liking it now a bit more, got into the fighting & spell casting etc and it's getting better..

Put a few hours into it already , it'll be getting patched after x-mas tho.. (MW2 )!

The original was meant to be an MMORPG for xbox live.
Its good but the first was better, but maybe cos it was that much more special, Its a light take on RPGs the dog is annoying. Its a very funny game.

IIRC it's not built until you come back from a later mission when your off island.
