face lift advice needed

has anyone tried puting the mk2 phase 2 lights and front end on c mk2 phase 1 front?

Matt black did this for his car.

The Cup racers do this.

Its not difficult just swop the stuff.

do the cup racers use the older shape shell yeah? ive had a look at the facelift model and where the light bolts 2 looks a completely different shape 2 where myn bolts to under the bonnet

They used to the conversion kit was made so the old ones could stll race when Renault said they all had to look like the new cars.

thats a good bit of knowledge mate but do u know where the conversion kit can be got from?

Renault sport racing but it didn't include light and was pricy.

Best place is to buy the panel from scrap yards and have it sprayd up its not worth it buying the stuff from Renault do a 172 conversion front end at best it won't cost much more.

do u mean the panel behind the light, because its further back on the facelift than on the old 1 sothat would mean a bit of grinding and welding??
