Facebook Search Broken?

When I search for people on Facebook it keeps saying they are not found even though they are there. It won't even find any John Smith's! It will only find those on my friends list.

Is it my PC or is there a problem with the site?

Yeah I just noticed! Before it was just saying it couldn't find anyone and I thought the whole world had blocked me!
