Am I the only nerd playing this or does the rest of you actually value family, friends and a social life?

Picked it up again with the release of 2.1 experimental and clocked over 17 hours in two days, they call it cracktorio for a reason..

I have played the demo and enjoyed it, I watched some videos online and it's absolutely insane some of the things people build. It's on my list at some point to try properly.

Did you ever play Sim Tower MLB?

This appears to have similar addiction levels.

I have played Sim Tower! That's ages ago though

Factorio is just so insanely optimised and the constant updates, instant bug fixes and support are unheard of really.

It's a factory building game but so much more logistics and optimisation. There's even people building virtual CPUs and playable versions of arcade games like Pong or Pacman.

There's just always so much more to do, so much bigger to build, something to optimise.

At the moment I'm about 200 hours into my latest run and I feel like I'm only just getting started and I have yet to try a modded game.

Depending on how masochistic you feel, some of the mod packs are about 1500 hours to complete
