FAiled First MOT ??

I have a 52 Plate Clio Cup. Today it failed its first MOT due to a missing linkage for the rear brake load valve ? They guy who tested it was not sure if it was supposed to be there or not..Any ideas ?

theres been a few people that have had problems with first mot's on cups, and i think its the same thing you've had, and as far as i know there shouldn't be one there.

Any (legal) suggestions on how i convince him that its all okay ? They have asked for a letter from Renault, What have people done to convince the MOT test centre that all's well ?

Invoice Renault for the failure if they wont supply you with the relevant letter.

Get the local renault dealer to ring them. Or tell renault its missing one..and you want it fixing..
