False Floor

  Megane DCi 147bhp/350nwm
Right, anyone know of a company that sell these for the clio or specially make them. I already have one but heres the problem. Basically there is not enough room in the boot now for my amp as the 2subs that are boxed fill my boot. I was thinking of having a false floor and at the front of it a cut away so the amp can sit under neath and be seen and be fairly well ventilated! This is my old one when i only had 1 sub in and the amp was also hidden underneath!

Why don't you make one your self? use some 2"x2" timber to make a frame then cut a sheet of mdf to the shape of the boot. Then cut holes in the mdf for your perspex. Once you've done that, cover the mdf with black carpet and stick the perspex to it. I would definately fit a couple of fans if you're having your amps beneath it, just buy a couple of 120mm computer fans from ebay

I mean build a whole new one, I did it in my xr3i years ago and it was quite impressive. You could use black vinyl instead of carpet

Im thinking of makin a false floor too..was gonna put my amp underneath but with a hole in the mdf so it can be seen..but didnt think about it over heating..What would i be able to wire the fans into??

I could do with a few pics from people that have made mdf floors before so it could help me with my ideas..
