Fan-assisted Induction Kit Idea

Hey up people, I have a piper x cone filter which has knocked out my midrange, i was gonna put the standard filter back on but realised i must of binned one end of the box. (doh!) What do you all reckon of me making my own box to enclose the filter with a small computer fan mounted on to to blow air out of the box i.e. getting rid of the hot air which will be replaced by cold air via the 2 standard air intakes once the car is mobile???

Just one of my mad ideas.lol the fan is a 12v and is only 4 quid!

as above ^^ lol the fan won't be able to blow the air out quick enough matey so don't bother

Not an expert on 172s but I think your best bet is to relocate the intake to the front fog (?) to get the best effect... but don't bother with the fan!

How do you guys attach you air feeds inside? Do you cable tie them or something?
