Fancy a sleeper

  MERCEDES CLS AMG
This is my mates car - its very quick and the torque is amazing !!

Its really about 250 bhp and is quick but wont do 177 mph - even with a 100 shot of gas it wouldnt be 350 bhp. This is a slight exageration.

Oh - he also runs it on a chip fat mix but hasnt put that in the add.

I was considering one of the 130's next and modifying them. You can get 280lbs of torque from a remap (Plus new clutch really).

I'd be put of though by what Matt says, And I dont like the fact he has included the nitrous in the bhp in the advert but would love a blast in it!

sleeper indeed, looks like a good buy. bit cheeky including the nos as the bhp figure though in the title

Hi Matt, not heard from you for a while, Hi to everyone else on the Forum as this is my first post prompted by the thread on my Golf GTTDI which has been brought to my attention...

Total respect for Clios as i own a Williams 1 myself (std car)

but i feel that there are some incorrect facts that need clearing up:

The Advert uses a headline BHP figure in order to draw people in and yes it is with NOS but it explains that in the advert, the car is between 250-260 BHP (dependant which Dyno you use) off gas and the car can run up to another 150 BHP of gas via a drip controller B4 the turbo runs out of puff. It is very difficult to measure this on a dyno as the torque produced spins up the front wheels. But rest assured it is around 350BHP the mathmatics alone of a 13.9 @ 107 and a 2.0 sec 60FT of a car that with the sport interior weighs 1550 kilos should prove this.

It doesn't say in the advert that the car does 177MPH, it states that it is geared to do this IF you had enough BHP probably an extra 100 or so. The car will genuinely do an indicated 160 MPH on the VW speedo with another 800 RPM to go to the rev limiter.

The car regularly runs on Bio diesel which as Matt suggested is a form of Chip Fat !! although some refinement processess have been used along the way. Those of you with diesel cars need to try it as it is totally awesome. It runs sweeter, it lubricates your engine better and most importantly it produces MORE POWER !!!

I think i'm right in saying that last time Matt was in the car was when i gave him a lift back from a drag race event over a year ago, as he posted in his thread above it was quick but not 250 BHP quick - Well that's because it was in phase one development and had the VNT GT22 on it and was only producing 201 BHP/300 lbs ft and at this point the smaller turbo only allowed me to fire in 30-50 BHP of gas. So if you thought that wAs fast then hold onto your seat next time.

The car is now in it's 3rd and final phase of development and has a huge turbo on it hence the massive power hike, it is still totally road drivable and i believe the road limit has been found for a day to day useable car. i still use this as my daily drive and it has been totally reliable. (Not even managed to break a gearbox, driveshaft, clutch or Head gasket.) Although have blown up three turbos in the quest for power as i run them at 2.4 BAR !!!!;)

last year the car was officially the fastest road going tdi in England winning the CUP at santa pod by over a second. Since then the other Tuning companies have tried to better the time set by my car. AET currently run a MK2 Golf fully stripped out and runs on slick tyres this has just set a 12.6 at pod and is only FWD (it is border line a road car, it is 500 kilos lighter than mine and less BHP- but now stands as the car to beat !!) NOT BAD for an oil burner....
