FAO anyone who's had warranty work done

Picking my car up from stealer at 5pm today, it's in because the aircon wasn't working properly. They phoned me yesterday to say it was because the evaporator was broken. They say they have changed this part but how do I know? will they give me any paper work to say its been done under warranty or do I just have to take their word for it?

open the bonnet and ask to be shown where it is for future reference?

After any warranty work you "should" get paperwork showing what's been done and by who. Sometimes the dealer will just give your keys back and say goodbye but if in any doubt ask for the paperwork and keep it for future referance.

Iv never got paperwork for the warrantee work iv had done. Not really happy with that as in the past with vauxhall and Ford i'v always got a signed jobsheet and explained what it was etc etc.. With Renault I got a phone call from 'Suzie' on reception saying its fixed !!

when i had my warrenty work done they never gave me any paperwork, untill i asked 4 sumin, they sent me the invoice in the post came up 2 £2300 glad i didnt have 2 pay 4 it lol

Nope me neither, they go through whats been done on a job sheet never got a copy though.

You never get anything from dealers usualy.

If your not happy ring Renault Uk they have records of whats been done to your car.
