Well worth getting, especially at that price. It really helps when trying to hold the camera steady as well as having buttons on it to make taking pictures with the camera sideways really easier.

Or two normal Canon batteries. That's handy as I was finding using a big lens with a fast autofocus was draining one battery in a day.

Tempted too, but going to upgrade to a 40D over winter so may give it a miss.

the course tutor just got a 40d seems to like it not got my hands on it yet though i like the live view feature
