I desperately require ONE front seat for a 2002 clio. Story was my sister crashed her clio on monday, f*cking up the tyres, wheels and axles, but problem is the front passenger seats side airbag went off and ruined the seat. shes decided to take it to a local garage (not reno) and hes getting the parts for her. The majority of the cost of repair (£1400!!), is going on getting the seat repaired, airbag needs to be filled and then sowen up. Costing a fortune!!

Anyway the point of this post is i need:

1x Front seat for a Clio Extreme 2002

CB1A, i think i remember you saying you could lay your fair hands on some parts, can you get hold of a seat? If so how much?

Or for anyone who knows where i could find one, would be much appreciated, maybe you know one of your mates whos getting cobras etc...

She worked out by the time you pay the excess £450 and it will affect her claims bonus so decided not to claim on insurance.

If its goin to cost £1400 its better to do it thru the insurance cos even with this claim your premium next year is unlikely to cost £1000 more!!!

Hannah, would it not be cheaper to actually fit a set of after market seats like cobra than the cost of replacing the extreme seats? means your sis could sell the one thats left okay in the car to raise some cash for the repairs and the cost of the new seats

Ye i suggested that to her but shes all very safety concious and wants airbags! Plus she loved the seat interior (heaven knows why!!)....

BILLYBHOY - Do you have some extreme seats your wanting rid of? Im sure we could come to some arrangement!

I know for a fact that renault specialist breakers in accrington have an interior off an extreme as my mate was goona have the rear seat cause of a sig burn. Their number is in the contacts page.
