had a slight problem with the car coming back from trax, garage has the car, i thought it might be driveshaft, they think its gearbox related, possibly the diff or bearing.

is the diff or bearing expensive??

would i be best getting a new box if its the diff? if so what boxes fit? e.g 1.6 megane box? 1.4 16v clio box??

ok i have found a megane 1.6 16v box (JB1) is that the right code for my box?

You cna use the box ratios won't be that different just got to check you have the speedo sensor in the gearbox if you need it.

JB1 on a 16 16V doens't sound right though they should use the JB3 maybe its a 1.4 16V (engine look the same) as they use the jb1 boxes.
