Basically Matt, all you have to do is have details such as the date of manufacture, and get an MOT done against the VIN number of the car, once its passed that you can apply to the DVLA to register the vehicle and get a reg for it, then simply find someone to insure it and youre away.

Matt as I explained it to you at the weekend is there something you didnt quite understand, its really simple...

Firstly buy the car...
secondly, get it pre MOTd although I can tell you now all you need is a horn and fully working lights, which itll prob have already...
Then when you have a MOT, call the Renault Customer service line, and give them the VIN number... They send you a letter through the post confirming year of manufacture etc...
Take that along to the DVLA with the MOT get it registered... JOB DONE
