FAO peeps with C.I.S

  The Beast MK4

Hello. I declared my mods a while ago and I just got my renewal quote in for the coming year. However it doesnt have my alloys or cat-back on the letter anywhere. Do they put the listed mods on this? I dont want to be screwed out a policy if anything ever happens. Was just wondering before I contact them.

Cheers, Jonny

there not really fussed at cis

does it have a spot for mods on the forms??

when i was with them they just said send a photo in of ur car and list the mods to us and thats it

Yeah they do this, you have to write in for your mods and i never got anything confirming they were on the olicy, and they werent n the renewal letter, but gave them a ring and she read them all out, all on there and at no extra cost.

Declaired: Lowered 60mm, stripped interior, buvcket seats, harnesses, alloys, de-cat, cat back exahust, induction kit etc etc....no increase in premium :D

sorry to hijack but does anybody know if they will insure a car with an engine transplant? Got insurance with them at the moment and its a great price all declared, just dont want them to refuse when they find out about the engine change.

I had them for my previous car. I rang them up and was told that i could do anything to the exterior, with no effect to the insurance cost, and to keep the recipts for every mod if i wished to claim for them if it got stolen. However i was told mods increasing engine performance would increase premium. Is really good to be honest. My brother now has it and crashed it the other day, and they had no problem with any of the mods, Alloys and lowered. So recommend them.
