FAO Yozzasport (Regarding Springs Etc)

i picked up a set of your rear coilover springs from a member on here, brand new - never used.....

i got them as Ive got FK coilovers, and i had read on here in many threads through searching that the springs you sell/used to sell are the way to take the FK's lower at the back....

anyways they arrived today, put them on, set them to the lowest setting and the rear of the car has gone a good 15mm higher than my original FK rear springs? i cant see them settling alot, so am i right in saying ive wasted my money and these wont go any lower than my FK's already were? I only got them because id' seen threads saying use these to get your car lower at the back if you're running FK's.

also, it seems that they are stiffer at the back, feels nicer to drive...but the front-end seems to have gone lighter and dosent grip as well anymore? will this be caused by a stiffer rear end?

Maybe they are for a 1*2 ... as they are heavier? and your 1.2 spings are less lbs???? (sorry just a thoght)

doubt it as there isnt much weight difference in the rear ends of the two i dont think..........yeah they need to settle but i dont think they will settle more than 15mm ?

if there is a problem - get in touch through the telephone tomorrow we sold them over a year ago - I guess you have brought them 2nd hand.??? Were your FK springs shot? are your fk dampers shot? Personally I would suggest looking there too...

i was under the impression they were sold to lower H&Rs more at the back. not FK's.

i bought them from a guy that got them from you a while ago, he never fitted them though so they have come to me brand new.... no my FKS wernt shot, i was going of references on the forum to use these to get my car lower than the FKS will go on the back....

not that i know of, just me! LOL

they fit all mk2 clios, not just sports, so if you have a 1.2 16V with FK's and want to go lower, here's your way to do it

i was going off that in a thread when the springs were trying to be sold months back, he put them up for resale and i bought them....
