Farewell Trophy 007

After owning the car since June 2005 it's time for 007 to be collected by it's new owner. I've given it a wash and brush up ready so here are the final pictures before it goes.

It's the longest I've ever owned any car, and for good reason. It'll take some serious beating in the fun stakes.

Aww. Looks stunning Lee. I know how you feel. I sold the P1 having owned it longer than any other car. Almost 3 years.

Yeah Paul, it did sell for peanuts, but more than the P/X I was offered. I didn't advertise it, Dan who bought it approached me when he saw I'd ordered the Cup.

He's just text me to tell me he's just had a great drive home.

I wanted the car to be clean and looking good for Dan, firstly because he's been a hero throughout the buying process, selling his 182 and waiting for me to be able to part with the Trophy, and secondly I wanted him to enjoy picking up his new car.

I've got a Megane 106 dci now for the week then the Cup at 9.30 on Saturday.

I was going to do a thread with pics of all the things I've done in the car, but that would have taken me hours.

sounds like hes pleased i thought you had part chopped it for some reason! did you say theres a problem with it of some sort cant remember what?! :S or have i dreamt that !LOL

I had agreed a p/x with the garage, then Dan asked me if I'd sell. That was all dependant on him shifting his 182 so it was't finalised until a couple of weeks back.

No problems with the Trophy. It's spot on.

cool worked out well for everyone then! i hate giving my cared for cars to dealers really! but its not always easy finding a private buyer :approve:

It's had it's problems as with all Renaults. The new owner has a folder which records every single visit to the dealers no matter what it was in for.

He's already on here a little, he had a 182 before the Trophy.
