farting/crackling speakers!?

loose connection or dead speakers?

theyre just std's but when i turn it up now it crackles like frig. cant tell if its the dah tweeters or door speakers.

just thought. this started happening after I removed the rear 6x9's that came with the car, and I've left the two chunky speaker cables lying loose on the metal bootfloor. they may even be touching. could something as simple as this be causing the interference to my 2 fronts?!

I would go check now, but I'm in my glasses, trampy jumper and wheelchair pants eating biscuits so dont want to be seen by my neighbours or the general public.

I am tempted. My bird doesn't want to marry me, I wonder why! She's not here tho, its ps3, brews, takeaway, no shave, sleep in my socks

yeah if they are touching then the amplified IC in the headunit will be going into protect (which would sound like farting tbh)
