farting noise when setting off.

i have a ph2 172 and i cant think of any other way to describe the noise, it sounds like the clio lets off a loud trump just after when i set off lol. It just happens once upon set off and doesn't continue when driving. The noise is comin from the front right i believe. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers!

i think its to do with the brakes, a way of telling you they need changing pretty soon.

I had this and changed my pads & hey presto, Cured.

I had this on my 172, like a paarrpp! Sound lol.

Mine did it when stopping hard over rough ground also.

It's had new pads and still does it with it's new owner :S

never ever knew why it did it tho!

HA HA!! It does smell inside the car too lol. I think Paarrpp is a better way to describe it, Its not the most annoying thing, just hope something serious is wrong with it. I have no idea what it could be...
