guy i know james wilday, some of you may know him he was pretty big in the renault 5 gtt scene a couple years back, he sold his gtt and got a rx7...

begining of the year he set the fastest road legal 1/4 mile record!

9.98 seconds, bearing in mind most of the work was done by himself....

Was this at TFS? Several cars crashed that day, think there must of been some spilalge on the track, possibly from when that gt5 blew it's guts under the timing gate :dead:

Love that rx7, always one of the highlights of santa pod for me, the sound is utter filth :evil:

he crashed due to the track! there was something majorly wrong just past the line, there was something like 5 cars crash that day! i have seen the odd car tank slap and smack the wall, but never seen that many crash or hear of that many crash! pod didnt seem to give a f**k either from what i have been told.
