Well, some may have seen my thread about my engine not running right. Bought the car over the weekend and noticed that it was not running smooth, it is very jerky when giving power, it is drivable but not comfortable to, especially when changing gear and going round corners etc.. The engine shakes a little when idle too.
When i got the car the engine light came on when i got home, saw it was the coolant light the book said so had a look and it was very low below minimum, topped it up and it has not been on since. The engine seems to run better when starting from cold in a morning.
Had RAC come out this morning and they gave me a couple of fault codes it is giving them, it only recently passed its MOT but that doesn't really mean anything.
P0638 & P0420
Any ideas if its going to be an expensive job?
Cannot believe a garage was going to charge me £40+ to do the same test plugging the computer into the car!
