Fault Codes???

Right,

Many thanks to Mike (Jenic) for sparing some time and travelling over to me to, and hooking up his RS Tuner to my car to read some fault codes. Top bloke.

Anyway the readings where:

1. DF0014 - Canister Purge Open-Circuit
2. DF0014 - Canister Purge Fault
3. DF0038 - Rear O2 Heater Fault on Activation

Just wondering what these mean? As i've just realised i have got a DeCAT pipe so think its summat to do with that?

Top two could mean the carbon cannister has been removed/is faulty.

Bottom one is a faulty Lambda heater circuit - do the 172's have two sensors?
Decat wouldn't affect how the car runs, but (obviously) will affect it's emissions.

I think it had a decat, it smelt petroly in the exhaust fumes like my old motorbike which didn't have a cat.

Also couldn't see a cat, presuming its the same size and position as a 182 cat anyway.
