faulty horn

hi all, i have a mk 1 RT, just found out that the horn isnt working! is this a big job? i dont know whether its the actual horn unit at fault or the wiring (ive just had a clifford alarm fitted by an engineer) i kept pressing it and got one toot out of it and that was it! just wondering if anyone has had the same problem before? thanks

i had a similar problem with my valver. locate the horn, mine was behind the splash guard in the drivers side arch, take off the wire connections and give them a good clean, i used compressed air. Put all back together and see if that solves it? If not check if it is getting any power with a circuit tester.
