Favour wanted.. anyone in Nottingham with a fault code scanner?

My new (to me) Clio RS182 has developed a bit of a stutter and the amber engine light sometimes flashes, I have a feeling it's the lambada sensor but would like to confirm if anyone has a spare 5 mins with a scanner? I have an USB to obd2 adapter but it doesn't seem to want to play ball.
I'm based in West Bridgford (Nottingham south).

I bought a bluetooth obd2 scanner off ebay for about 3 or 4 quid. It communicates with a free android app called torque and can read and clear fault codes and do other stuff using your phone without paying.
