Look out for Yoz having to cheat and cut the course to get past me :clown:

if its still the same as it was nik has mounted it in the grill....small camera connected to video cam i think

Yep, located in the grill, cable feeds round the engine bay and into passenger footwell where it connects to power from lighter socket, microphone and connectors to the AV In on a digital camcorder which sits in the rear seat drinks holder thing behind the passenger seat. Also have a LANC remote button from the camcorder so i can start & stop recordings from the drivers seat.

Maybe another good place would be around the fog light. Low to the ground and good position for corners.

I'd like to try some other camera positions, but mounting it can be tricky. Could get some great shots using an external suction mount, but most track days dont allow these

The glass on the front of the camera has had a few chips but its only a couple of quid to replace. The actual lense is sat safely behind this so it doesnt get damaged.

Pretty tough things really, its been left on the car for months at a time in all weathers sometimes without any problems.

Thank you, would have been better if I had a least kept up with one have you guys but until I get a new car itll have to do, I did my best and moved over when I saw people in my mirror.

You were going really well, very quick for a 1.2. You didn't hold me up at all, I just decided to ease off on that corner and overtake on the straight. With that bump mid corner i thought it wasn't worth the risk going into it side by side.

Yeh, that bump got worse the closer you cut it which surprised me, that why you see my car jump a fair bit

Was that camera easy to fit?
