Feels slow. Is Something is wrong ?

Got Clio 172 phase 2. Feels a lot slower that my brother clio 182. Think timing could be out slightly as noted in other posts.

What do you mean it 'feels slow'? Have you driven both cars? Sometimes when your a passenger, it may feel a bit faster because your not driving if that makes sense.

Are they both standard?

Is your 172 a cup? If not that could be the 'disconnect' in the experience. Giving the illusion the car is slower because its softer if that makes sence? To prove this do a roughly timed 20 to 60 in each car. If anything is super wrong you would notice then.

Nah not a cup. And both 172 and 182 are standard. Going renteck next week for belts and oil rocker leak.
When mine hits 5k it's gets abit more power. But the 182 hits 5k and takes off. Maybe I'm just looking into it to much. Not sure

I would do that be funny. But he lives in Kent. Oh I had a 449 valver years back and he had 106gti and he's was slightly faster. I weren't happy bunny lol

A discrete blip on a dual isn't going to bother anybody, and if you manage to stay with your bros 182 and not get left, you can go home happy knowing your car is making reasonable power and you have saved on dyno costs

Putting it on the rollers wont prove much really.

Get some diagnostics done. If theres something wrong with it then rollers wont tell you what.

That won't be much better my mate constantly moans my clio leaves his for dead on low down torque ! They arent bad if your on the rev limiter , everywhere ! Which isn't really practical not possible!

Get yours checked out then go from there !

Ye fair 1. I love the looks of clios. I got the monoco 172. Want to lower it but not sure how much and want a nice exhaust. But it all adds up. Suppose il just save my pennies and stick with it

Best bet IMO, get it checked out , looked after should be feeling nippy by then, they aren't ground breaking quick but enought to make you smile !

Love Monaco's keep your ears and eyes open on the for sale ! Cook sport springs give a nice drop and 172 stealth seams be the way ! Set of matched inlets , decat etc

My 182 came alive after a exhaust and decat , was like a different car !

Lol.. it may not be as fast as some more expensive/tuned cars but the clios are still fast!

Cooks sprigs have gone mate !

As for the inlet , no wont change power but you ca have the inlet machined and flowed to get a good couple of bhp and it's been painted rather than the crappy silver lol !
