few pics of my mk5 r32

Car  An orange one
Had this around 9 months now, fitted H&R's and the 19" talladega wheels from the mk6 .R....the exhaust is standard (and would never change it sounds unbelievable as is) but i have fitted 100mm tips onto it for a bit extra visual effect :)

AFAIK the colour (shadow blue) is pretty rare on R's ive never seen another on the road yet in this colour :)

Its a shame its so expensive to keep on the road, the tax and fuel economy is abysmal, my mum and dad have had a clio 200 for a year now and its sooooo much fun, its a real hoot compared to the r32..but obviously it falls way short in terms of interior and class (and noise) lol its definately something i would be looking into next if its not another clio v6 (my 3rd)!

oh and for the record...my ideal 200 spec after much browsing is..

200 FF with cup
Liquid yellow
recaro's
yellow dash inserts and seat belts
I.D black roof
Black 17" speedlines
Monitor pack + bluetooth
Folding mirrors (heated)

mmmm...although it comes just shy of £22k on renaults configurator :( mum and dad got theirs for £15k last january!

Lovely apart from the wheels imo. I would love one but theyre just not quick enough which is a shame.

The wheels look a little aftermarket which isn't ideal on that car, as do the tai;lpipes but stunning machine and a sound to love.

Not a fan of the wheels but stunning car! Although standard exhaust does sound epic , id still put a non res milltek on straight away

Lovely Colour and a Lovely Car but I'm not a fan of those wheels.

I didn't know you'd sold your vee! Let alone bought a Meg inbetween selling and buying this!

Not keen on the exhaust or the wheels to be honest buddy!

Wow I'm surprised at the wheels comments, aftermarket was something I wanted to avoid that was my reason for choosing oem wheels :( non res milltek is crazy loud on the mk5 much louder than mk4, either way I'd have to consider £450 very seriously before changing the oem sound :)

Are they Mk6 R wheels?

Kind of the fence...looks good in a way, but the size of the wheels and hooge exhaust pipes make it look a bit chav too.

Not a fan of the wheels, they look way too big and chunky for the car. Love the R32's otherwise and I think the exhaust looks ok.

What's it like on motion lotion?

My mates MK4 R32 gives 27mpg.
My TT V6 gives 30 mpg.

Looks good mate. Looks better in the flesh too! ;) As said tho, unsure on the wheels. Some BBS's would look very nice..

I like the spec for the 200 also!

You guys have given me a complex with the wheels now! Lol I really like them personally.. When I first fitted them I had that feeling of horror when I wasn't sure, but I think now having lowered it and seen the wheels on a few rocco / golf R's I'm pretty sold on them!

I'm sick of the sight of bbs wheels everyone on r32oc has them, if I had the cash it would be sitting on some genuine Audi 19" splits but they are mega bucks and a pita to clean!

Ahh the rotiforms! Nice wheel but not my favourites! I can't help but picture it in White wrap though...

Think I'd rather just sell though before I spent another £1k on it..

Not sell the current wheels n use that money to buy these? Have you seen these on a other R32 before?

Nice car never seen another R in that colour.

Have to agree on the wheels though i really think they are a bad VW wheel dunno what they were thinking :(

are you in the £400ish tax range ?? After March 2006 iirc

You guys must all be saying that if u ever bought a golf R or rocco R the first thing u would do is change the wheels?!

Sorry but if you bought a Golf R in the first place i think you would need sectioned, i really dont see who the target audience was for it. With the right options you could easily sail past 40k for one.

Why anyone would buy one over a normal GTi/R32/S3/TTS used RS4/S4 etc and so on is beyond me.
